FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What courses can I take?

PADI courses right at sea:

  • PADI Open Water Diver — for beginners. Earn a full diving certification right during the safari.
  • PADI Refresh Course — already certified but out of practice? Refresh your knowledge and skills.
  • PADI Specialties (EAN · Deep · Wreck) — specialities for certified divers: nitrox, deep and wreck dives.
  • PADI Advanced OWD — next level: sharpen your skills and earn your Advanced certification.
Who are the dive instructors?

Our instructors are PADI professionals with 20+ years of experience. We work with the renowned Blue Sea Dive Club (Sharm El-Sheikh).

How safe is it?

Diving is far safer than you might think. Statistically, regular swimming carries a higher risk than scuba diving. Modern equipment, professional instructors and strict safety protocols make diving one of the most controlled outdoor activities.

Can I go solo?

Yes, most of our guests travel solo. A dive safari is a great way to meet like-minded people — the boat brings everyone together quickly.

Do I need diving experience?

No experience needed. For beginners we offer a Discovery Dive programme — introductory dives with an instructor in safe conditions. A great chance to try diving!

What certification do I need?

For independent dives you need an Open Water Diver certification or higher. Without a cert, you can complete the OWD course on board or simply enjoy snorkelling and Discovery Dives.

Haven't dived in a while?

No problem! For those who haven't dived recently, we offer a Refresh Course (quick theory recap and skills practice) on-site with an instructor before the safari starts.

What should I pack?

Light summer clothes, swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a personal first-aid kit, GoPro or camera, and seasickness tablets (just in case).

Can I rent equipment?

Yes, all necessary dive gear (mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator) is available for rent directly on board. Please let us know in advance if you need equipment.

What if the weather is bad?

August is the ideal month for diving in the Red Sea with minimal weather risk. In case of unexpected conditions, the captain will reroute to alternative, more sheltered sites.

How do I book?

Submit a request → we contact you to confirm details → sign the agreement → pay your deposit.

How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?

The deposit is 50% of the total price. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the safari begins.

What are the cancellation terms?

Cancellation 60+ days before — 80% refund. 30–60 days — 50% refund. Less than 30 days — deposit is non-refundable.
